The Pawklo Indigenous Stewardship Territory (PIST) Charter sets out the collective vision, principles, and governance framework of the Indigenous Karen communities of the Paw Khlo River Basin. Developed through years of community consultations, participatory research, and territorial mapping, the Charter affirms Indigenous self‑determination, customary land and resource governance, environmental stewardship, cultural continuity, and inclusive decision‑making. It serves as the foundation for how the people of PIST govern, protect, and care for their ancestral territory for present and future generations. For full details, please download the Charter.
