Demarcating and establishing wildlife sanctuaries
KESAN works with local communities and KFD to identify high-value wildlife areas and demarcate wildlife sanctuaries. This project also involves systematic demarcation and survey of previously designated wildlife sanctuaries to gather information about biodiversity, with the aim of strengthening forest protection under Indigenous custodianship and KFD rules and regulations.
