A month-long training was conducted with 13 young women (ages 17-22 years old).
The women produced 218 items of clothing (shirts and skirts/sarongs) and generated an income of 23,390 Thai Baht from the sale of these items. After expenses were paid for (thread, materials, maintenance and repair of the equipment), each woman made approximately 1000 baht. The women were able to buy rice, salt and fishpaste for their families.

As well, many reported that they liked the ability to connect and interact with other women in their communities/villages to learn from and support one another.
