The three-day consultation and training event entitling ” Karen student and youth consultation and engagement in environmental affairs” was organized from April 13 to 15, 2015 at Paw Law Pu, a Karen Internally Displaced Person (IDP) camp that located in Kay Pu village tract, Lu Thaw Township, Mutraw District, Karen State, Burma/Myanmar. A total of 202 participants (females 103; males 99), representing local communities from K’saw Ter and Lei Kee Community Forestry and Lu Thaw Paw Day community, 12 primary, secondary and post-secondary schools, including Kor Wah Plaw, T’pu Hta, The Nu Sei La, Plo Kee, Ter Kaw, Paw Law, Htee Mu Kee, Lei Kee, T’yu Kee, Day Pu Noh, Mae Ra Moe, and Pu Taw Memorial Junior College from Mae La camp, KSNG, and KED, actively and constructively participated.
