This environmental booklet is an educational tool that aims to equip community members and leaders, students, and teachers within Karen communities with the essential environmental knowledge, skills and understanding for creating a better and sustainable future where humanity can have a harmonious living with the natural environment. This booklet is sequentially arranged into seven sections, and they included (1) self-reflection, (2) the importance of having this booklet, (3) the meaning of educational education, (4) basic components of environment, (5) biodiversity, (6) natural resources, and conclusion. Furthermore, participatory learning processes that encourage knowledge sharing through group activities such as problem analysis tree and participatory resource valuation analysis are included in this booklet as well.
