KESAN’s media team documents and reports the effort of the communities to protect their lands, forests, and rivers, documents environmental problems caused by unsustainable development projects, and promotes a sustainable and community-based development approach.
KESAN media team works closely with community members and leaders to create videos and short documentary films about the efforts of local people to protect their environment and ways of life.
When Karen communities face livelihood insecurity due to environmental problems posed by destructive development projects, or conflict, the KESAN media team go to the field to document and film the situation, and report to relevant stakeholders.
