Nowadays due to widespread development and easily available internet technology, most people have ready access to information and current events happening around the world. Unfortunately for most people living in remote upland areas it is still very hard to access current news, as well as to find more educational information, including about environmental issues affecting them. To address this lack, in 2010 KESAN started working with the Pwo Lo FM radio station in Mutraw District, Karen State to bring information, knowledge, and security to the people.
